Rental Policies and Information
Arrival: Check in is 4:00 PM
Departure: Departure is 10 AM weekdays and 11 AM weekends.
Minimum Stay:
A 2-night minimum stay is required.
A 3- or 4-night stay is required for Holidays (see holiday schedule).
Minimum Age to Rent: You must be at least 30 years of age to rent a Trickle Creek at Hocking Hills cabin. Photo ID required with reservation.
Payment: A credit card is required for payment. A 50% deposit is required to make a reservation. The balance of the rental including tax, cleaning fee and refundable damage deposit is charged 30 days prior to arrival. A credit card is required for the damage deposit.
Cancellations: If cancellations are made more than 30 days prior to arrival, the entire deposit will be refunded minus a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total booking amount. No refunds are given within 30 days for any reason.
Weather/Driving Conditions: Our cabins are available for rental all year, so winter weather may come into play during your visit. We strongly suggest the use of 4-wheel drive vehicles during the winter months. We do NOT provide refunds for inclement weather.
Visitors/Guests/Occupancy Details: No extra guests or visitors other than those listed on the rental agreement are permitted.
Damages: We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning required after your stay in addition to your security deposit. If you notice any damage upon your arrival, please inform us upon check-in.
Smoking: No smoking permitted inside of cabins under any circumstance. Smoking inside of cabins will result in a $100 fine.
Pets: NO PETS $500 fine or loss of deposit.
Loss of Use: Occasionally hot tubs, appliances, etc. break down. In addition, “Acts of God” such as loss of electricity, etc. occur. We will make every effort to remedy all situations, however, in the event of a failure, we do not make refunds of any kind for loss of use.
Phones: The cabins have land line telephones with unlimited nationwide long distance. Overseas calls will be billed as per phone bill.
Fireplaces: Gas to be turned off in fireplaces from May 1 through September 30.
Noise policy: All guests are expected to respect the serenity of this unique environment and keep noise to a reasonable level. ONE warning will be given to noisy guests. After that, guest will be required to leave without a refund. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES ARE PERMITTED!
